Porsche 911 GT2 Evo No.55 Le Mans 24H 1995 P. Yver – J. Leconte – J-L. Chereau in 1:43 scale by Spark. The Porsche 911 GT2 Evo No. 55 competed in the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans with French drivers Patrick Yver, Jean Leconte, and Jean-Louis Chéreau. Yver was an experienced endurance racer known for competing in international GT events, while Leconte and Chéreau were skilled French sports car drivers who brought valuable experience to Porsche’s customer racing effort. The GT2 Evo was a remarkable evolution of the air-cooled Porsche 911 Type 993, featuring a lightweight body, aggressive aerodynamic upgrades, wider bodywork, and a powerful 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine producing race-level performance. Unlike purpose-built prototypes, the GT2 Evo retained the unmistakable shape and engineering DNA of the road-going 911 while competing against dedicated race cars, making it a standout example of Porsche’s philosophy of turning production-based sports cars into world-class endurance competitors.Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Spark ensures the absolute best quality possible. Each model comes with its own acrylic display case.
