This is the 1970 Cadillac Superior Hearse White/Black in 1:43 scale by Matrix. The 1970 Cadillac Superior Hearse was an imposing and elegantly crafted professional car built by the Superior Coach Company using Cadillac’s luxurious commercial chassis. Known for its enormous proportions, dramatic chrome detailing, and smooth V8-powered ride, the Superior Hearse combined dignity and craftsmanship in a way few vehicles of its era could match. What set it apart from competitors was its highly customized coach-built bodywork, featuring extended rear sections, ornate interior appointments, and distinctive landau styling that gave it a stately presence on the road. Beyond its funeral service role, the 1970 Cadillac hearse later became an icon of American automotive culture, frequently appearing in movies, television, and custom collector circles due to its unmistakable design and hauntingly elegant character.Excellent quality and finish. Beautifully crafted and exquisitely detailed. Models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Beautiful detail and accuracy of shape and scale. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Each model comes with its own acrylic display case.
