The 56 by far for me. The 57 thru 59 Mercury styling just does nothing for me, but 60 onward sure does.

This one is great up close. Good value for money IMO.

I love both cars but prefer the more conservative styling of the Ford a bit more. I also love the 2-tone application on the Ford more.

The DeSoto, although a very nice car, can't compare to the styling of the 59 Pontiac.

I like the crisper styling of the Buick in 61. Opposite for the next year though.
