Smokey and the Bandit Jerry Reed Cledus Snow “The Snowman” 1976 Kenworth W900 w/ Trailer 1:64

Smokey and the Bandit Jerry Reed Cledus Snow “The Snowman” 1976 Kenworth W900 w/ Trailer in 1:64 scale by IXO.

The “Snowman” trailer from Smokey and the Bandit, driven by Jerry Reed as Cledus Snow, became an icon of American trucking culture and stood apart from its cinematic and real-world competition by embodying both utility and character. Unlike the flashy Trans Am that shared the spotlight, the Snowman’s tractor-trailer represented the backbone of the operation—hauling bootleg Coors beer across state lines while outrunning the law. What made it unique was how the film elevated a workhorse vehicle—a Kenworth W900 with its massive trailer—into a star in its own right, symbolizing grit, endurance, and the sheer charisma of long-haul trucking at a time when big rigs were rarely celebrated in popular media.
