Aston Martin is the thread running through today. The Valhalla arrives in three scales more or less simultaneously — 1:64, 1:43 and 1:18, all from the same parent company — while AUTOart adds a pair of DB11s in 1:18. Around that: Mini GT opened pre-orders on six references this morning, Sun Star has tooled the Sanremo-winning Subaru Impreza 555 in 1:18 as a 999-piece edition, KK-Scale announced a 1958 Bel Air Impala, and Ottomobile has six new items dated for January 2027. There is also a quiet correction to run on AUTOart’s 930 Turbo. Reference numbers, materials and delivery windows are given where the manufacturers stated them, and flagged where they did not.
The Aston Martin Valhalla lands in three scales at once
The Valhalla is now confirmed in 1:64, 1:43 and 1:18, and all three come out of the same house — Mini GT, TSM and TopSpeed are stablemates. Two exterior finishes run through the range, Podium Green and Lunar White, which makes this an unusually coordinated rollout rather than three independent decisions.

The 1:64 car is the interesting one, because it is new tooling rather than a repaint, and because Mini GT is offering it in both left- and right-hand drive — not something the brand does for every subject. Prices and edition sizes were not published with any of the five.
Mini GT opens six pre-orders
Pre-orders opened this morning, 31 August, on six 1:64 references. Three are competition cars, three are road cars, and the Lotus is the outlier — a 1978 Formula One subject is not typical Mini GT territory.

AUTOart: Aston Martin DB11 in two colours
Announced this morning: 70268 in Q Frosted Blue and 70269 in Apple Tree Green. The publicity images show doors, bonnet and boot all opening, with fully trimmed interiors. No price or delivery month was stated.
KK-Scale: 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air Impala Coupe in four colours
KKDC181591 through KKDC181594, metal and sealed, in Copper/Cream, Black, Turquoise/Cream and Dark Green Metallic/Green. One caution on timing: the distribution listing quotes availability within the third quarter of 2026, while the announcement circulating elsewhere says October. Those cannot both be right — treat the delivery date as unsettled until KK-Scale confirms it.
KK-Scale: August batch reaches shops
Separately, KK-Scale confirmed at the end of last week that its August batch is in stores now — the 1:18 Toyota Truck Xtra Cab 4×4 and the Lincoln Continental. The availability post carried no reference numbers; from the earlier announcements those tools run KKDC181561–181563 for the Toyota and KKDC181521–181524 for the Continental, so check the box before ordering.
Ottomobile: six new items for January 2027
Five in 1:18 and one in 1:12, all resin, all quoted for January 2027 delivery. The Pandem Fairlady Z sits in the Ottomobile Project Cars line; the rest are mainline. No edition sizes were published.

GP Replicas: first greywear sample of the Ferrari F1-87/88C
Still the earliest-stage item on the board. Greywear is an unpainted shell used to check proportion and panel fit, so this is a long way from delivery. No reference, driver, livery, edition size or price yet. The subject is the 1987 car revised by John Barnard and run a second season in 1988 by Gerhard Berger and Michele Alboreto — the car that took Ferrari’s one-two at Monza weeks after Enzo Ferrari’s death.
GT Spirit: Charger Daytona R/T in Plum Crazy — GT1018
Availability quoted for December 2026 on the 1:18 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T 2024. No price or edition size published, and the material was not stated — GT Spirit’s line is sealed resin as a house standard, so expect that unless the company says otherwise.
Norev: the September assortment
Two 1:12 Porsches lead it — 127535, the 911 GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS 2022 in White/Python Green, and 127552, the 911 S/T 2023 in Malachite Green Metallic. In 1:18: 189034 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 1969 in Le Mans Blue, 182610 MGA 1955 in British Racing Green, 183042 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2018 in Grey, 187002 and 187000 911 GT3 with Touring and Weissach packs, 187373 911 GT3 RS Pack Weissach 2022, and 187654 Taycan Turbo S 2024. The 1:18 Sprinter is the oddity in a month otherwise built out of Porsches, and Norev remains one of the few makers still tooling working vans at this scale.
Sun Star: Subaru Impreza 555, Sanremo 1995 — 999 pieces
Item 5603, 1:18, the Subaru Impreza 555 #6 of Piero Liatti and Alex Alessandrini, winner of the Rallye Sanremo – Rallye d’Italia in 1995. Limited to 999 pieces, barcode 657440056038, release quoted for November 2026, pre-orders through distributors. A numbered edition and a named result is more specification than most of today’s entries carry, and the 555-liveried Impreza is a subject collectors have asked about for years.
AUTOart: the 930 Turbo run is six references, not three
Worth a correction. We reported three 1:18 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo 3.0 references on 29 August — 78110, 78111 and 78112. The distribution listings now run 78110 through 78115, six references in all, with availability quoted for the fourth quarter of 2026 and the subject given as the 1974 car. The three additional colours have not been named publicly yet. Anyone who ordered on the assumption that three colours was the whole run should know there are more coming.
1:43 and smaller
Minichamps: hand sample of Verstappen’s 2026 Australian GP RB22
417260103, 1:43, the Red Bull RB22 as run by Max Verstappen at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix. A hand sample means pre-production, so decoration and finish can still change. No price, edition size or delivery month published.
Matrix: Mercedes-Benz 500K Cabriolet C in three versions
MX41302-311, -312 and -313, 1:43, the Mercedes-Benz 500K Cabriolet C (W29) of 1934 with the top down. Matrix has not named the three finishes publicly. Resin and sealed, as with the rest of the Matrix line.
Autocult: three new 1:43 subjects
ATC09023-2, the Zephyr Land Yacht motorhome of 1936; and ATC12021-1 and ATC12021-2, the RMA Amphi Ranger 2800 SR of 1985 in Polizei and emergency-service liveries. Autocult continues to be the maker most willing to tool subjects nobody else will touch — an amphibious German police vehicle is a fair example.

A colour addition rather than a new tool. Reference is listed as TBD; no price, material or edition size given.
Schuco: a broad new run across four scales
Schuco has a wide release covering 1:32, 1:43, 1:64 and 1:87. The 1:32 items are agricultural — a Case-IH International 633 tractor of 1978 (32U00007), a Deutz-Fahr DX250 of 1983 (32U00008), a 1969 Beetle (32U00012) and three three-piece mechanic figure sets (32U00021–23). The 1:43 cars are 450203300 Porsche 911 997 GT3 RS Coupé 2011, 450203400 Ford Escort XR3i 1.6 1983, 450203500 Renault R5 Alpine Turbo 1982 and 450203900 Volkswagen Golf GTi MkI 1976. Smaller scales include a 1:64 Jaguar E-Type, Mercedes-Benz 200D, three Volkswagen T1 and T3 variants and a Herbie Beetle, plus five 1:87 pieces including two Porsche 911s and a Karmann Ghia.
Quick hits
- The Australian Diecast Expo ran Saturday and Sunday at the Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens in Sydney. Mini GT had a stand and posted a gallery from the floor; no product was revealed there that has not since appeared in the pre-order list above.
- Amalgam has issued the Bugatti Type 35 and Type 57SC Atlantic as platinum prints. Worth knowing these are prints rather than models, if you are reading the announcement quickly.
- Matrix and Autocult both pushed large re-stock waves alongside their new items — several dozen references between them, including a run of Matrix 1:18 pieces. Re-stocks, not new tooling, but if something on your list went out of stock this year it is worth a second look.
- Not one item today carried a published price or edition size except the Sun Star Impreza, which is capped at 999. Two entries — the GP Replicas Ferrari and the Minichamps RB22 — are pre-production samples rather than announced products.
