The Diecast Zone auctions are running again. The software has been rebuilt, proxy bidding is switched on, and the club has put up five of its own models to start things off — a Danbury Mint split-window Corvette, a Deuce highboy, two 1:64 lots and a Dale Earnhardt set.
The auctions are back!
The auction side of the site had been dormant, but it is now officially re-launched: bidding now runs eBay-style, so you can enter the most you are willing to pay and the system bids on your behalf up to that figure rather than making you sit and watch the clock. Members bid; sellers list!
To get the first lots on the board, the club listed five models of its own under The Diecast Zone Auctions. All five ship within the United States for a flat $9.95.
- 1963 Corvette, 1:24, Danbury Mint — the split-window coupe in black, brand new and never displayed. Opens at $25, bids in $5 steps, reserve applies. Ends 21 October.
- 1932 Ford Deuce Highboy, 1:24, Danbury Mint — brand new and mint in box. Opens at $25, $5 steps. Ends 22 October.
- Johnny Lightning Muscle Cars, 1:64 — a lot of four GTOs, all new. Opens at $5, 50-cent steps. Ends 23 October.
- Hot Wheels, 1:64 — a lot of new castings. Opens at $5, 50-cent steps. Ends 23 October.
- Winners Circle, 1:64 — a set of two, Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Opens at $5, 50-cent steps. Ends 24 October.
Selling is open to members of course. The club takes 10 per cent and the seller keeps 90, which is well under what the big marketplaces like eBay charge. Register as a member of the Zone on the forums first, then apply through the Seller Application page; the Auction Instructions explain the rest. Auctions are United States only for the moment, international will be added later, and each seller sets the shipping charge on their own listings.

Sun Star: a Boss 351, two Fairlanes and three Prados
Sun Star announced the 1971 Mustang yesterday and ACME put the rest of the American programme out through its dealer list this week.

- 3630 — 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 in Bright Red, 1:18, barcode 657440036306, released November 2026
- SS-5265 — 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 open convertible, Sun Gold over Raven Black, 1:18 — MSRP $149.95, ETA Q1 2027
- SS-5275 — 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 hard top, White over Raven Black, 1:18 — MSRP $149.95, ETA Q1 2027
- SS-5861, SS-5862 and SS-5863 — Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in white, black and green, 1:18 — MSRP $275.95 each, ETA Q1 2027
One date to watch: Sun Star’s own listing for the green Prado gives a December 2026 release, while ACME’s United States ETA for all three is the first quarter of 2027. The two sources often differ by a quarter on the same car, so take the ACME date as the one that applies to American buyers.
KK-Scale: the R34 GT-R V-Spec II in 1:12
KK-Scale says the 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II arrives at the end of October in 1:12, with opening parts. The firm has built its reputation on 1:18 saloons, so a 1:12 R34 with the panels opening is a departure, and at that size the car has rarely been done at all.
LookSmart: Leclerc’s Singapore Ferrari in three scales
The Ferrari SF-26 that Charles Leclerc took to second place at Singapore this year, open for pre-order now and due in the first quarter of 2027. Helmets are being done alongside the cars.
- LS18F1093 — 1:18
- LSF1094 — 1:43
- LS64046 — 1:64
Touring Modelcars: three BMW 745i in 1:18
The E23 7-Series gets three references — 18023000, 18023001 and 18023002 — all the 1984 745i, all listed for the fourth quarter of this year.
Autocult: a Daytona that was built once
ATC90339 is the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Pininfarina Coupé Speciale of 1969 in 1:43 — the one-off show car on Daytona underpinnings, and exactly the sort of thing Autocult exists to make.
Quick hits
- No consumer prices have been published for the KK-Scale, LookSmart, Touring Modelcars or Autocult references above.
- Sun Star has not given a price for the Boss 351; the ACME figures are United States MSRP.
