Spark has opened thirteen Le Mans cars in 1:18, from the Porsche 956s of 1983 and 1984 to the Jaguar XJR-12 that won in 1990 and the Audi R8 that won in 2004. Also: GT Spirit announces twenty in three scales including four at 1:8, IXO opens four of its own at 1:8 led by the Martini Lancia 037, WERK83 does Jo Siffert’s Zeltweg-winning 917K in 1:12, BBR brings the Ferrari 296 Speciale and the 849 Testarossa Assetto Fiorano down to 1:43, and Mini GT has the new Corvette ZR1 and Honda Prelude.
The first two Diecast Zone auctions have closed, and whoever was watching did well — a mint Danbury Mint split-window Corvette at $65 and a Danbury Mint Deuce highboy at $25, with three of the opening five still running and a good deal more now on the board. Also: Top Marques takes the Ferrari 330 P3 into 1:12, BBR puts three Antonelli wins into limited luxury packs, Schuco opens thirty-six in 1:64 and 1:87, and IXO has the new Lancia Gamma.
BBR has opened the Pagani Utopia in 1:18 — seven finishes of the Zonda and Huayra’s successor, each with a display case. Also: Minichamps puts most of the 2026 Formula One season into three scales with Antonelli’s three wins at its centre, GP Replicas does Jean Alesi’s Montreal-winning Ferrari 412 T2 in 1:12, Spark has Fangio’s Cuban Grand Prix Maserati, Otto Mobile takes the Beetle to 1:12, and ACME has a 1957 Bel Air that never was.
The Diecast Zone auctions are running again — rebuilt software, proxy bidding, and five models the club put up to start things off, from a Danbury Mint split-window Corvette to a Dale Earnhardt set. Also: Sun Star announces a Boss 351 Mustang and two 1958 Fairlanes in 1:18, KK-Scale takes the R34 GT-R to 1:12, LookSmart has Leclerc’s Singapore Ferrari in three scales, and Autocult does a Daytona that was built once.
Top Marques has opened twelve references in 1:12 — all three Fords that filled the podium at Le Mans in 1966, including the Ken Miles car, the Mk IV that won in 1967, and three Sauber-Mercedes C9s from 1989. Also: Spark puts two Spa 24 Hours winners into 1:8, BBR opens the Ferrari F8 Spider in eleven colours, Solido announces fifteen including a Mustang Boss 429, and ACME’s Dukes-liveried Challengers have landed.
KK-Scale is doing the boattail Buick Riviera in 1:18 — the 1973 car, in at least three colours, due in November. Also: MCG opens eighteen references in 1:18 that run from an AMC Pacer to an NYPD Caprice, AUTOart lands five Porsche 930 Turbos on 14 October with a sixth colour behind them, BBR starts a Schumacher-era Ferrari series with the F2003 from Suzuka, and Norev has a new 300 SL Gullwing.
Tecnomodel is doing the March 707 Can-Am in 1:18, five versions of a car that has almost never been modelled, including Kelleners’ Nürburgring winner and Amon’s Laguna Seca car. Also: Maxima opens seven 1:18 resins led by a shark-nose Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, Sun Star adds two more 1960 Plymouth Furys, TSM and Top Speed put the Daytona-winning Porsche 963 into 1:12 and 1:18, and Esval builds a 1956 Chevrolet emergency fleet in 1:43.
AUTOart has announced twenty new 1:18 references in a week — fifteen Lamborghinis, including four colours of a car Squadra Corse built exactly once, and five versions of the 911 Carrera 2.7 RS. Also: BBR opens the Ferrari 288 GTO in ten colours and a Maserati GT2 Stradale limited to twenty, Spark brings the 2026 Formula One season to scale with Gasly’s Monza pole among fifteen references, and Mini GT is doing Mario Andretti’s Lotus 78 in 1:64.
Tecnomodel is moving into 1:12 for the first time, with six versions of the 1996 Ferrari F40 LM at twenty-seven pieces each. Also: Minichamps has Lando Norris’s championship-clinching Abu Dhabi car with figure and pitboards, Ottomobile announces seven for March including a Renault 14 and a Fiesta XR2, IXO opens ten in 1:43 led by Blomqvist’s Swedish Rally Quattro, and BBR has both Ferraris from Silverstone.
Amalgam has launched the Ferrari Amalfi Spider at 1:8 — 199 pieces in Rosso Tramonto, with a Giallo Montecarlo version of just nine to follow. Also: AUTOart’s Diablo SE30 in five colours, Minichamps’ 1:18 of Norris’s Hungarian GP winner, first photos of ACME’s King Kong GTX, Mini GT’s Goldfinger Mustang, and twenty-five new Spark references.
