The Mints and Highway 61, GMP and others have created large scale motorcycles as well done as their model cars. I am starting with a Danbury Mint custom "the Lightning Blade" chopper in 1/10 scale. Any motor

FM's Harley V-Rod: my favorite HD motorcycle. I realize that the V-Rod wasn't popular with traditional Harley riders, but that was the whole point.....to add a whole new customer base into the HD fold. The double overhead cam (DOHC), liquid cooled motor was a collaborative effort between Porsche and Harley engineers.
Incidentally, what looks like the fuel tank was actually the air intake and oil filler cover. The fuel tank was under the seat area.
From an unknown (Tamiya, maybe?) diecast manufacturer: A 1966 Honda RC116. Found inexpensively on Ebay a decade or so ago.
I knew nothing of these bikes at the time and it took some internet searching to find out the bikes history (in order to print up the description for its display case).
Of note: the drive chain is made up of actual links.
@clifford-read Oh my god, I have never seen any of those except the HD V-Rod, I have the pewter version.

FM's 1947 Harley Davidson Servi Car: FM's version came with some 'bling' including lots of chrome as well as orange pinstriping and trim. Servi Cars were basic commercial vehicles, usually with painted out trim so I've painted the wheel rims and headlight housing black as it ought to be, and removed the orange pinstriping. I've used plated jewelry wire to replicate the fine line fender trim that was generally used on all Harley fenders at the time.
