This older Camaro model by Lane is an RS, SS 396 that's got everything except AC which seems to be an odd deletion. If you wanted extra power, why order all the extra weighty goop? Anyway, it's a really nice model for its time.

Despite being older tooling, as you noted Rich, the overly simplified block & engine bay still kind of surprise me a bit.  Nice trunk, but did these actually have a full-size spares?  Where those "space-saver-spares"  optional?  🤔 🤨

@chris Good question Chris. I've never seen a Camaro or Firebird that didn't have a space saver spare/

Not the best photos but this is a Lane Exact Detail 1967 Yenko Camaro, it has a full size spare in it.

@chris Well, the engine is plumbed and wires which is all you could ask for back then. I thought the full sized spare was optional back in those days. I remember my father saying "I'm not driving around on that damned thing and screw up the car".

I just looked it up and if the '68 Camaro came with 14" wheels, you got a full sized tire. a mini was optional and recommended for a convertible.
