This Ferrari 328 GTS Targa Spyder was designed by Pininfarina and the body was hand built by Scaglietti. The "328" stood for the '3.2' Dino V'8'. It was produced between 1984 and 1989 with 7412 of this Targa and the Berlinetta produced. The slightly convex wheels identify this as a later model with an ABS braking system.
Model by Mattel Hotwheels.
@gavin There were so many full feature affordable diecasts back in the day and we all thought it would last forever. Who knew that a few years later we'd be limited to resin curbsides and reissues and the companies that still make those models would have tripled their MSRPs. So we are all "shoulda, coulda and woulda... if we had known.
Without a doubt, one of the prettiest Ferraris ever built. My buddy had an '89 that I had a few occasions to drive. Whenever I drive a Ferrari I never play the radio. The only tunes I want to hear is the Ferrari music!

absolutely! I've only driven one, an '82 308...and was a passenger in a 246 Dino, 308 QV & a Testarossa. The sounds were absolutely amazing.
Nice trio, Marty. Love the design of the 308/328/GTO.
@gavin - Thanks. I've been lucky to know some Ferrari owners. My brother-in-law had two of them. A 348 and later a Testarossa. I spent an entire weekend with the 348 and a day with the Testarossa. Ferrari is my most desired 1:1 car. Unfortunately, I've never been in the financial position to own one but I have a ton of Ferrari models! LOL! 😆
I absolutely love the styling of the 288GTO.
