I think that buying directly from China.........

can be seen as taking a chance.

I know the first time I did it I was a bit worried that if anything went wrong it might be hard to get it rectified.

In my case my worries were groundless as the car was delivered to me in perfect condition and in no more time than it takes for me to get a car from California.

I've found it to be hit or miss. If you look back, I had a Phantom that was purported to be a Kyosho, that was not. To cap it off, it had horrible paint problems. At least I was able to get some money back on that one.

The other problem I've had is looong ship times. Usually at least 3 weeks, sometimes 4 to 6.

Because I have never bought directly from China Paul therefore spending that kind of money on an order that's out side of our country is a little scary to me. But like I said, I want that car! Which by the way, no one commented on. Guess I'm the only one who really likes the Kyosho Rolls. Oh well.

No China for me...

.....aside from the looooong waaaaaaait, if you have a problem, you're really in uncharted territory, CS isn't what we've become accustomed to when doing business in the USA. I bought a car from ZDY 0553 which was misrepresented and sent it back...never to see my money again. A savings is only good if everything else is equal, which i just haven;t found to be the case, and clearly not worth the risk. There are plenty of USA dealers whose pricing is competitive, no need for wait, and potential risk.

Jim, I've bought from China on many occasions and have always received the models in perfect condition and, invariably, quickly. I hope that you experience will be the same.

Hey, I am also looking for the Kyosho Rolls Royce Ghost in white. You must know of someone here in the states who has this car for sale as well and for under $279 plus $39 shipping.

So far I have looked at 55 pages on eBay and haven't seen either of these cars here in the States. Oh well that's just dumb ole' me. By the way, did you actually look up the car I was talking about on eBay? "The China Dragon"? Just wondering who here in the States has this car especially since they say they only made 999 of them.

Thyen you should check this car out if you like Rolls Royce.

I just decided that I would finally take the chance because the car is that rare. They say they only made 999 of them. It's "The China Dragon" eBay item #2616 5672 0908. I think, it's worth the chance so I'm taking it. I want this car!

Hey Jim, I have seen the China Dragon Rolls a couple of times. What a beautiful color!

I don't have any of the Kyosho modern Rolls', because they don't really fit my collection, so I can't justify the cost right now. That being said, I definitely admire these cars, and have considered them often! I think I like the deep wine paint on this one better then the rest. Please promise us some photos of your Rolls-Royce collection one this one arrives!!

My comments weren't directed at you, I was sharing personal experience. No need to take it personally.
As an FYI, I did get the Ghost in white here in the States, at a reasonable price..although it seems you've just priced yourself out of that advice. Good luck to ya! With China, too.

I agree also. From the pictures I've seen it looks just like the other Kyosho Rolls Royce's to me. Beau-ti-ful! By the way the sellers feedback is 100% out of 2638 auctions. Everybody loves this guy. So that helped me make the decision. My apologies for saying the cars were in China, they are in Hong Kong. And thank you for taking a look. I'm glad someone else was interested in them.

Yes, the car is "The China Dragon" but the cars are in, Hong Kong. that must be better than buying directly out of China though. I guess I'll find out, won't I.
