Spark finally got around to making their fourth Lancia Beta Monte Carlo Martini car #67. It was a DNF in the 5th hour, probably why I only had one half-decent shot of it.

Somewhat by chance, I found a Trofeu model of the BMW-powered Lola T298, an LE of 150. This was also a DNF, but it lasted to the 18th hour when an electrical malfunction put it out. I liked one of the pics below, which captured not only the car being passed by the NART Ferrari BB, but also the gendarme's presence near the track.

There were 55 cars starting the race, plus 8 DNS/DNQ/reserve cars Of the total of 63, I have 53 built plus two kits. The eight cars remaining are:

WM-Peugeot #6 (which may never appear since it was converted to a Group C car, possibly #82 or #83)

Porsche 924 #75 (I've only seen decals available - need to get cracking on these)

Mazda Rx-7 #39 (Bizarre made the other two Mazdas but I never saw this one)

Porsche 935 #62 (with interest in other unsuccessful Porsches, you'd think there would at least be decals somewhere)

Camaro #35 (I had a Starter or Record kit, but Spark announced long ago they would make it. Still waiting)

Porsche 935 #59 (same story as the Camaro, still waiting from Spark. But I can get the decals and might convert an old Quartzo diecast)

ACR 80B #22 (an obscure DNF, JUST located one at Grand Prix Models! Awaiting restock and shipment)

Renard-Delmas D1 (same story as the ACR, not classified at finish - JUST located at GPM and awaiting shipment!)

So I have almost all classified finishers, Yay! But the search will go on for six others.
