I've wanted a model of the Aston Martin V8 for a long time.  Within the span of couple years, 3 different manufacturers released a version.  CMF & GT Spirit are sealed resin, so I'm definitely glad I held out for the fully opening AutoArt.

I'm curious why the valve (cam) covers are stamped with the Lagonda marque, but the marque of the car is only Aston Martin. Was that V8 a derivative of a Lagonda designed engine?

When Ford was accused that their Fusion front end resembles Aston Martin, I was thinking, well Aston Martin's Vantage was already guilty of taking cues from the Mustang...

That's a good question, Rich & I always wondered as well.  From what I could find, David Brown bought Aston Martin in 1947 & shortly after also bought the failing Lagonda company...merging the 2 to form Aston Martin Lagonda (AML).  Good info here:  https://astonmartins.com/

@lu & @josh....thanks.  AA did a great job on these models.

@chav...I've always thought of these V8 models as Britain's answer to the Mustang, at a much higher price & prestige point.
