WOW! Spectacular - photo'ed exquisitely.
Great model which I have in yellow.
The Quintessential 50s Land Yacht. I hated them new. 7 decades later, they're kinda kitschy.
@rich-sufficool I've seen & stood next to several '58 Buicks (never owned one ) but I don't ever recall seeing a Limited.

I have always found the '58 Buick to be very unattractive and even more so with the disproportionately long rear quarters of the Limited version.

...that's precisely what I love about them. 😏 🤨 😏

Whaaat? You must be a dealer in 1958 Buick Limited rear bumpers then. There must be a ton of them ripped off. This car should be renamed the Buick Taildragger. LOL...just kidding!
The Buick Limited was a luxurious car for sure. Sunstar captured all that luxury in their models. I have a couple of them, but always wanted one in the color you've shown but never got one.
Beautiful model and photos too.

This great Buick in 1/18 from Sunstar looks wonderful in these images ! I am delighted to have several of these scale replicas in hardtop and convertible form from them and they most definitely are very impressive models. One can only imagine what this giant beauty would be like in full 1:1 size and real life. Nice !
@mikedetorrice Back then, the first time I saw one of these over-chromed behemoths on the road, my reaction was twofold: 1.) Yeow!!! and 2.) UGH!!! Like I said before, I like them now for their pure Kitsch as a cultural statement of the 50s. They're styled and chromed to absurdity.
