Burago 1:18 #3034 1957 Corvette
Does anyone have information on the production of the 1957 Corvette made by Burago 1:18 #3034 YELLOW with RED coves and RED interior? I was informed that this is a low production diecast. Is there any special reason for the colors?
Thanks
Barry

Sometimes those more outlandish color combos were released...
with Disney characters on board ( or other cartoon characters including the Beetle Bailey crew). They also did special colors for European department stores and American toy stores like Kay-Bees and TRU. This model was also released in kit form and many of the kits also employed different colors. Lastly, they did unique colors when commissioned to commemorate certain events. One thing about Bburago, they used their more popular toolings to death.
I have catalogs of Bburago releases and none of them I would consider complete.
Personally, I would not pay a premium on any special color without some provenance to show it was unique to a specific purpose and limited.
