Rich, they are the lights to illuminate the racing numbers on the doors at night.
Used for 24 hour racing like Le Mans.

That is what Exoto did with the L88 Corvette
Did a blended car and then put on different liveries - the models were roundly panned by the Tifosi but they had the saving grace of at least being relatively cheap.
This car is not cheap and for some of us racing car collectors all the detail and fit and finish in the world will not make up for the fact that this is a $500 'fantasy car'.

It's very difficult to understand CMC's thought process. I do hope they appreciate the consternation and disappointment they have caused. It will be interesting to see if they make amends in the future.

Well something is going on, as they are not selling anywhere
Near the $518 list. One big vendor is offering it at $466 without a promotion. I paid around $440 here at legacy using their coupon.

Paul we are all trying to decide whether to get this replica or spend our money elsewhere
I personally learned recently about this car, it raced way before I was born. Would you post a picture for reference, or point to a reliable source of information? I found many pictures online, but before I even start comparing, I want to make sure I am comparing to the right thing.
