[Closed] For the computer savvy, "HELP!"

Richard, do you need to make sure that the folder and files selected are set for (let's say) .jpeg/.jpg ?

Some photo-hosting sites may only allow uploading files in that format (or perhaps others) and will not allow files that are .tif/.tiff, .raw, .gif, .bmp, .png ..... etc.

In other words, see if there are the proper file format pictures in the folder on your computer and that the photo-hosting site is set correctly to accept that picture format upload.

PB and google might have a dimension or file size (KB)
restriction.????? and will not except your large shots.

Maybe............Some places have size restriction....

God, I hope not because I don't even know what that means. LOL anyway. I tried another hosting site and I have the same problem and I've uploaded a gazillion pics over the years and now suddenly, I can't.

I have always found the DC4 site to be a place to relax

EXCEPT when trying to post photos. If I take a picture of a model, where can I "Save" the pic before trying to post it in a Forum message? I have saved pics on my desktop but have never been able to get them from there to the Forum. I asked a "Geek" neighbor of mine to look at it and he couldn't get it to work.

Don't know if this is any help. Years ago Mr. K told me about an app called 'picture resizer' which I've dl at no cost. After I take a pic, I'm able to resize it down and very simply post that pic here. You've seen my pics here, right ?
It's so easy to do from my phone. I'm sorry..is it different to do from another source ? I apologize if it is as I only use my phone to post here.

Is resizing the problem? .. or is not finding them on your computer?

I have pictures saved in my Desktop hrd drive ...

and .. I aslo have pictures taken off my camera SD card ... I plug the SD card into my card reader ... go the the file .. Make a note of where my picture is located ... I resize my picture right then and there to 1400 - click save ... goto D4C website .. create a listing .. I upload my picture to the "CLICK HERE TO ADD IMAGE TO YOUR POST ... and .. waa laa !!! my picture is now in my listing ... "Preview MESSAGE" ... then select submit ....

With that said ...

I can NOT take pictures with my cell phone

If U ask me to email U that picture from my cell phone .. FORGET IT

It ain't happening ....

My methods works for me .. and that's pretty much all I need to know
