However, despite NOT having space for new model cars, somehow, I've managed to find room for this year's new acquisitions!  Here is a recap.

Ferrari GTO Side Low
Daytona SP3 3 qtr rear
TR 2
Willys, Maz 3 Qtr Front
57 Retractable 2
Mustang Mach 1 3 Qtr Rear

S Klub SLR Front 3 Qtr low
956 962 3
62 Caddy 9
Ivo 2 engine rear 3 qtr
C8 3 Qtr Front

I wonder what I'll find space for in 2024!  LOL! 🤣

Good morning Marty, I hope you're having some nice weather. Well no one has yet asked you so I'm going to be the first I guess what is in the very last pic ? If I had to guess I'd say it was a Corvette and is that a model that is actually covered with a car cover or is it a sculpture ?

@100ford2003 - The last photo is a scale model sculpture sent by GM to commensurate the purchase of a factory-ordered C8 Corvette.  They're sending them out as a gift in the same color as the 1:1 car when factory-ordered.  It comes in a very nice and elaborate box and a display with the VIN number on the plaque.

Thanks for the reply Marty.  Happy Holidays to you and your family, I hope you have Merry Christmas.

I'm sure we'll all be looking forward to seeing what new purchases you make.

Oh, and BTW how'd you happen to get a hold of that sculpture.  Did you bribe somebody at GM or wait don't tell me that's what's going to be parked in your garage next year ?!

👍🎄🍾🎉

@100ford2003 - BTW, last month, I also did take advantage of attending the Ron Fellows C8 Corvette Performance Driving School in Nevada.  It was for two days and one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had!  I wanna go back and take another class.

The school provides C8 Corvettes to drive and thrash!  There are a number of events and courses to experience spaced over various sessions.  The sessions are comprised of some classroom and driving stuff.  The driving sessions are 0-60 times, emergency braking, wet conditions, figure 8 driving, autocross, and of course, the road course.

Here is a video of my last road course session on Day 2.  We're in crash helmets and neck restraint systems.  Watching the video will show how the instructor (in the car in front of me) is coaching me on getting the most out of the car and lowering lap times.

The first lap is the warm-up, and the subsequent three laps are "HOT!"  It's probably the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on!  LOL!

@100ford2003 - LOL!  Actually, that ship has already sailed!  I took delivery of the 2023 C8 Corvette Stingray in November, 2022.  I have over 13,000 miles on the car.  Almost all of it are pleasure drives in the mountains.

Fun fact.  After I got the car, my neighbor came over to check out the car.  I gave him the keys and asked him to get in and start the car.  When he did, the sound of the cold-start prompted his response, "That sound alone is worth the price of admission!"  The next day, he came home with his Hypersonic Gray C8 in the last photo!

I have over 13,000 miles on the car.

Two things:

1) Your "2023 booty"  is eclectic as usual, but 2023 is NOT over yet. 😏 😏  (I just had a box arrive this morning 😌)

2) 13,000 miles in one year, just cruising around?  Looks like you bought the right car!  Not quite sure how the hell you get in & out of that thing though. 🙄 😯 😀

Great year end recap, Marlowe.  Love those 956/962s.  Your C8 looks fantastic too...really like your wheel choice, as non of the OEM C8 wheels really stand out to me.

Wonderful video of your drive at Ron Fellows Performance Driving School. I can see why you want to go back. C8 is a fun and beautiful car to own. Thanks for sharing this, Marty.
