new cars 1/18 well guys iv been looking for some new diecast for the collection but ummmm no. does nobody want to make some new models? its always the same ole same ole just different colors or top up or down kinda diss hearting for the collector hobby am i the only who see's this lol
John, I think it all depends on your area of interest and the size of your wallet
Over the last year I've added a bunch of new cars to my collection (and some old cars, as well) and, from the information I have, 2013 will be a good year too. With the proliferation of resin, some of the cars we'd never get in diecast, particularly in this market, are now available. But new molds for non-resin (some type of metal) cars continue to be made, particularly at the upper end of the price range.
Additionally, there are some new processes and approaches to model cars on the horizon that may set the collector car world, specifically 1:18 on its ear.
So stick around, I think there should be something new and exciting for almost anybody.
The prices of cars, pretty much have gone up by a bunch and if you're in the below $50 range, your options may be a little more limited, but some great stuff is coming out in 1:43.
