It looks like Exoto has closed. They haven't produced a car since the Jaguar D-Type. When clicking on the URL, it says a new site is coming, but why would Tony K do that? He already had a site. I think it's gone forever.
It was a fun ride, though. In my opinion, they were #1 in detail. With the exception of their low-cost Motorbox series, no other manufacturer matched their best efforts. I consider myself fortunate to have managed to add 13 Exotos to my collection.
I wish I still had all the Exoto models I once did - very few left. Furious detail was what Tony said and he was right.
Gosh man, I wish the new site was for new coming car models!!
I think it's gone forever.
Hmm..... I'm far less pessimistic. That link seems genuine - in that I believe a new site is coming. Afterall, why lie?
I still get their promotional emails, and the last few mentioned a new site.
I have quite a few Exotos, including the 1:43-Bartolettis with the Cobras and the GT-40's and 5 Grand Sports.
Awesome in detail, love them.
Let' hope they have not closed. Wonderful models.
@paul-rouffa - That's interesting you get promotional emails. I wonder why I'm not on their list.
A shame the website is gone, it had some good history on most of the cars, some of it was not completely accurate but the majority of it was. I have 35 Exoto 1/18 scale in my collection.

Wow - and thought you had alot of ramp trucks! 😬 😬 Well, fear not..... Many are not convinced Exoto is dead; they're just updating. Let's face it, their old site was a bit cumbersome & dated, right?
@chris Dated yes, but the information is what I will miss from it, the little bits of information about the cars that you did/do not get from 99% of other sites. I hope Exoto is just revamping and will be back with new product for the hobby.

Well, I'm not counting Exoto out yet. Who knows, they may even expand historical information footnotes to include separate links for those who seek even greater insight.
It's my opinion that they'll be back, better than ever - more focused, and perhaps even with a "secondary line" of slightly lesser detail & cost. That is, maybe more full-fendered cars that don't require "2 pounds of deatils" like "open" race cars. 🤔 🤔
@chris The idea of a lesser cost model was done by them, and you may recall it, was called Exoto Motorbox.
was called Exoto Motorbox.
Correct - but I'm thinking of a "lesser cost line" better than that (if possible ). Overall, Motorbox failed to impress, some were good, but.......
