FAR out Dude. Oh, sorry, got carried away.
Love both of them; they'd be great conversation pieces and both look to be full of normal Best Of Show intricate detailing!
In that Opel I see hints of Pantera Lamborghini Miura and I don't even know what else !
Steve, I immediately thought Pantera before seeing your post.
That Opel is certainly interesting looking.
BoS with opening door features? That's a surprise!
I have the Opel in my collection.
@marty-johnson Sorry 'bout that Marty; my sentence, I suppose, is a bit ambiguous. BOS makes the sealed Opel, Aptera makes the non-sealed Launch Edition.
@joop Congrats! I've seen this model as high as $1,800.00 on secondary markets. 😬 😬
Of course, I'm confident none of us can match obscure models that reside in Rich Sufficool's collection, but here are some of mine that I think would qualify as uncommon. I'm excluding the custom modifications (most are one-off's) and just showing the models that were actually produced by a diecast/resin manufacturer. Also, I don't have a photo of the Bill Lawton Tasca Ford Thunderbolt by itself, so I'm not including the Gas Ronda version as "obscure." And of course, the magnificent 1:10 scale Exoto Ford GT40 Ken Miles version isn't so "obscure," but very difficult to find one as they rarely are available for sale.
