HA! They never used to be; I remember when these and the convertibles were $40 - $60. "Time" makes practically every 1/18 "quality diecast" valuable. Many of these aftermarket prices shock me. 😬 😬 😬
Well darn from $40 to $400, I went into the wrong field lol.

Back in the Golden Age of 1/24ths when Franklin & Danbury Mint's were cranking out cars like a New York street hot dog vendor, AUTOart, Lane and Kyosho sent me a couple dozen cars for reviews and ad pieces. We (the D4C Club) even did a 1/18th Zone Car from a couple Lane models. I think it was the third one we did, a 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400, in Maize Yellow. And they even put a plate on it to honor my state - Tennessee. But of all of them, the only ones left here, due to size constraints, are Kyosho models.
