Except for the sealed trunks (which I haven't yet cut out on mine ), this coupe and the convertible are better than the Welly '41 Chevys. Nice pics.
Don't forget to turn off the lights Mike.Â

Lol, I am going to have to tie a string around my finger and remember that, Bob. I don't want a dead battery !

@chris I had heard years ago that ER/UH actually used the same mold, but one difference was that Welly's had a sealed trunk area and only was done in convertible form. A 1941 Chevrolet is pretty cool to get in any case and they can't be very common as restored 1:1 either.
@mikedetorrice The Welly (w/opening trunk ) and the Universal (with sealed trunk ) are different tooling. Bur as you noted, the Welly was only offered as a convertible. The Universal was produced as convertible (top up or down ) and also as a 2-dr sedan.Â
Beautiful convertibles ! It is interesting that they both decided to do a 1941 Chevrolet, although I am certainly happy that Eagles Race decided to do this one.
@mikedetorrice Yes, the Eagles are heavier & better except for the sealed trunk. Here's my two. I've always thought that between these 2 and 1 Welly I could create ONE better (or best ) 1/18 1941 Chevrolet. Project #129 🙄 😔 🙄Â
P.S.
I never realized how terrible my door gap is between the roof and door frame until I took this pic. Yours doesn't look as bad. 🤔 🤔 🤨Â
