(Pics) 1960 Ford Thunderbird

The '60 T-Bird was the last year of the 3 year run of the classic and attractive "Squarebird"-type design and it featured very cool and futuristic lines and plenty of Thunderbird V-8 power. This is SunStar's outstanding version in 1/18.

1960 Ford Thunderbird

Great pics - as usual. I have three of the convertible. Very sad that Sunstar did not make one of the later cars, 1964, 65, 67.

Mike, terrific pics. Car looks pretty good for a standard Sunstar.

Beautiful photography, Mike. This Thunderbird looks so fine in yellow. Fortunately, I was able to find one at a reasonable price in the time period before all the other Premium Editions models began to hit the marketplace.

Thanks. Gold would be a beautiful hue on this '60 T-Bird.

Oh yeah ! They are great values, and especially back when I got this one.

Thanks, Clemens. I have a red top-down convertible with the continental kit out back and it's wonderful that way, too.

You are quite right..... SunStar would do a superb job if they were to do the '64 - '66 Thunderbirds !

Thank you. It sure is a wonderful diecast model and these standard SunStar's are outstanding as they begin to approach the Platinum Series in many ways yet are far less in cost. (at least back a few years ago)
