(Pics) 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT

This is Yat Ming's '66 Cyclone GT convertible as done in Jamaican Yellow. It was a very well done diecast in the YM tradition, and hopefully the current owner of the Yat Ming tooling will release additional 1/18ths from the vast selection.

PIC - Great photos, as usual. That car was the basis for this one...

Yat Ming didn't make a hardtop so I used the top from a GMP Fairlane and fit it to the convertible.

You know....... you really should cast some resin body copies. I'll bet you could cash in on eBay.

Love this vintage "funny car." You did a good job making it a credible reproduction.

I wish there were aftermarket PE badging and scripts for those YMs

Thanks ! Your hardtop conversion always looks terrific and since YM only tooled for a convertible, the hard work of this kind of fine conversion is the only way to get a hardtop.

Maybe if Lucky Diecast releases this one again as part of their YM tooling, perhaps someone may do some aftermarket ones.
