(Pics) '60 Fury hardtop
This gorgeous 1/18 Plymouth has been seen here wonderfully several times already and it certainly deserves all the snapshots taken of it because it is such a good-looking automobile. (both the model and the real thing)

Right on, Mike, there can't be too many great shots of this striking car and model.
I love my convertible version and I'd like to add the hardtop. I 'specially like that blue!
The extended driver's seat looks clumsy and out of scale, though, and keeps me away.
Anybody else feel this way?
Anybody done a modification?

I do George. And I'm not liking that 'gap' where the top meets the fender either. I think I might wait to see if an up-top cnvrt is made. Or I'll just pass and get the Dodge. I remember that Chris mentioned that 'tab' but I'm not sure what he did to fix it. I'm going to search the Archives.

I'm pretty sure I call seeing Chris M. saying he was going to do a modification on the seat.
I think it would be fairly simple to do too. I would think it could be accomplished in less than a couple of hours.

Great photos, darned nice model too....
I guess I've said this before but I never liked the 1:1s. They were just too over the top as though they ran out styling cues for the "Forward Look" series and just threw chrome and 3-tone schemes at it.
The model really picks all this up perfectly and for me, this model exemplifies MOPAR land yacht kitsch. I really like this piece.

LOL, just serendipity with that background snap ! (but perhaps he jammed on the brakes and skidded out when he realized he was driving on the wrong side of the street !)
