I like the simple lines of the 997 model of the 911 series. This the AUTOart model of the GT2 in a really pretty silver. Launched in 2007, this 530Hp rocket was called "the Last Widowmaker" for its high horsepower and minimal traction control. 1242 were built between 2007 and 2009. For such a brute, it looks so sedate.

Fabulous car Rich. I would love a drive intros full sized version, especially at the controls.
I would try to not be too exuberant as I know about that wicket back end.
The AutoArt model is no slouch and does an accurate depiction of the 997. Thanks for this.

Love the GT2 versions of the 911. I skipped this one & bought the RS version...all the power, just a bit less weight. This version is understated, as you mentioned...I wouldn't say that about the RS with the CF bits.

@gavin Excellent group of cars in the classic silver. As a race car guy I've been collecting Porsche models to add to my collection - most from the late 50 to the early 70's but I make exceptions for some of the 911 based cars

Maybe little, yet a pretty powerful Porsche !
