Question

I have a Road Legends 1957 Ford Ranchero but it is in a 1957 Ford Courier Sedan Delivery box and it appears to be a factory mess up. It also has Courier sedan stamped on the bottom of car the stand also says that it is a sedan delivery just would like to know how to check to see for a fact if it was factory or not and also where I could find out the value of this car

William, I don't want to question your judgment, yet, what "appears" as "factory sealed" might......

...not be. Those boxes can easily be tampered with, resealed, returned, re-sold, etc... AND no one would be the wiser.

On the other hand, if you're 100% certain (with ZERO doubt) that the box is a factory correct in everyway, factory sealed, etc...

Then you'd have a genuine factory mistake. However, for this particular model, this "authentic" mistake would NOT in ANY WAY increase the value.

Sadly, you still have a $15.00-$29.99 model. If you have the red/white "Big Ed tires" edition then you could add 20% (c. $6.00)

I agree with Chris. The incorrect box and base do nothing to increase the value of the car.
