Thanks @chris.  I love this model, though some collectors say the shape is a touch off, I don't really see it.  Norev has just released a fully opening Gullwing & Schuco has one coming soon, if you're missing a Gullwing in your collection.

Revell VW Beetle 1302 LS Convertible

Loved this when I saw it many years ago. I bought two (both "top up" versions) I think I pirated one top for a project. Revell, as usual, captured the proportions accurately. This VW looks good.

Revell had some very good 1/18ths. I've had quite a few. I'm still looking for the Red Scirocco. Had a 1:1 just like it.

@100ford2003...they did indeed, especially their later models.  The Scirocco looked good, as did the later Corrado (which I had but sold).

Thanks, @chris.  I had this and an old YM Bug & thought the Revell was a much better model.
