I had the yellow one..lol.
Maisto did a really nice job with this 1/18 Thunderbird and I believe they also offered it in a convertible/top-down edition.

The one I had had a removable up top and boot cover.Â
There was also a Neiman Marcus version that, I think, was black with a silver top.Â
And let's not forget the James Bond version driven by Halle Berry.Â
Forgive me for any spelling mistakes...thanks.
Right. I have a few, and they do have removable tops and separate boots. Actually, the scale proportions of this model are quite good.
Thanks for clearing that up.... I used to think they had two cars. Now I know this baby did double duty.Â
...not sure I've ever seen this one. Not bad. 🙂Â

It is a very nicely put together 1/18 supercar. The paint and opening features are really well done and at the typical low Maisto 1/18 price point.
Maisto has brought us some great models at, IMO, unbelievable prices.Â
Especially in August / September at Costco & Sam's Club.Â

@chris Did you now that the owner of SO CAL Speed Shop stopped racing when his brother in-law was killed in the car when the clutch blew apart and ruptured a fuel line causing a fire. They did not have the bell housings like today that can contain an exploded clutch.
