1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/C by CMC, this is the first year Ferrari used Steel rims because the power they were making was causing the wire wheels to collapse.Â

Terrific looking model (no surprise, right? ) but those rims, although desperately needed, are less-than-glamorous....  but of course, 100% authentic and that's what truly counts! 😎 😎Â
@chris This is the Competition model, so that explains why they went with the steel wheels, the wire wheels look more sexy but if you collapse one then sexy no longer cuts it. Some of the best competition cars were some of the ugliest and some of the prettiest competition cars were the biggest dog on the track, it is not often you can combine both good looks along with great performance. The Ford GT40 MKII is a good example of a good looking car that had great performance, the Ford GT40 MK IV on the other hand while it looks ok performed even better but next to the GT40 MKII it is an ugly duckling. But saying that you have to admire the pure performance of the Ford GT40 MK IV.
@john3976 CMC; they do a great job in any scale. I'm with Chris, the race wheels are correct but Meh. What would be terrific is to have a set of wires to replace the competition set. Since there is nor race livery on that BEE-U-T-FUL machine. Good shots of the abundant detailing!!

I actually really like those Competition wheels. I like the wires, but feel like they make the car look older.

Of course that makes total sense.... still, however, it's a tuff pill to swallow. That car is so gorgeous otherwise.  It's like dressing your super-model girlfriend in coal miner boots! 😬 😬 😬Â

@perrone1 ....there's NO doubt in my mind that she would be the girl on YOUR arm anytime YOU arrive anywhere in or with your 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB.   😏 😏 😏
