To stay in my Vw roots, picked up a Jetta.

It's OK that you no longer own a 1:1; your loyalty is still intact!.

I don't recall Jetta sold in America ever looking like this one....... but I'm NO VW expert.     Cool looking little model though.

I hsd a 76 and 78 Scirocco and LOVED them especially the 78 as it was a special edition model that I saw pn the showroom floor and immediately bought. I wanted a Corrado but couldn’t afford it. Now some are commanding big $$$.

I don’t know about resin / static models but i’m pretty sure that Revell made one. My next favorite car is an Audi Coupe.
