I always thought that Pontiac GTO's were the epitome of what MUSCLE CARS were all about! So when this Brochure was taken from my mailbox and the envelope opened, this awesome Limited Edition GTO left me breathless!
DANBURY MINT did their usual incredible job of bringing an exciting model to life in 1:24 scale diecast.

DM did a nice job on this one. I didn't purchase it because I already had three '69 GTO, but in hindsight, I wish I had.
George, you're up past your bed time, aren't you?! lol
Another nice one. This one is a great color. Maybe it's time for a GTO Week.

I like that idea John! Being that I was in my final few years of high school when the Muscle Car rage was going on, I can never get enough of them! In 1968, 69, and 70 I really wanted every Muscle Car from the Big Three. It was a special time in automotive history!

Danbury made some of the best, but let's not forget about the GMP versions, which are equally as nice. George keep those brochures coming.

I agree about the GMP versions, they are fantastic. I have a few of them and they are every bit a quality diecast that the other mints produced. Their GTO's are superb.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but I love to browse old threads here on Forum 24. I remember having fun doing this "I've Got Mail" series of posts. And I still think this GTO is an awesome model.

One I'd love to have, but every one I find for sale are disintegrating. And they still try to get big money for them. Not from me. Same with the Carousel Red '69 Firebird. I've yet to see a good one for sale.😟
@grockwood Isn't it a beauty Gary? I received the yellow version as a Christmas gift from a dear friend. I have this and the orange version. I love em both.😊
I have this Yellow one and also have the Orange one. I love this era of GTO'S. On my car shelves, they are eye-catchers immediately.

What do you mean disintegrating?

I have all the actual brochures safe and sound. But all my scanned copies of them were lost when the hard-drive on a former computer I had them on crashed. I lost them all. Scanning takes a lot of time, and I won't do it again.
