RED cars in the Fifties & Sixties always did it for me! They were vibrant and bold, and looked rich and powerful. This Brochure with the Chevy backing right in to my face almost placed me right in the car and I could feel it soaring down the highway. As with any convertible, along with that feel of it soaring, My imagination allowed me to experience the wind giving me a sense of total freedom. There wasn't a second of hesitation that passed to order this car while holding the Brochure in my hand. I'm sure if I wanted to, I could find some flaws with this model, but if I did, I'd be nit-picking. To my eyes, it has stood the test of time and is a favorite in my collection.
Franklin Mint presents...A "Jet Back to the Sixties" memory with this beautiful
I have this model as I am a big fan of the 1960 Impala. Unfortunately, this is one of those instances where the model in the brochure is better looking than the actual model. The DM versions are far better, but it is red-so that helps.
I saved all of them I received. Both of cars I bought and even those I didn't. I keep the Brochures from the models I've purchased with the paperwork that came with each model. And those that I didn't purchase, I keep the Brochures in a separate file folder.

John, from your photo of your actual model, I'm thinking you have either an earlier or later version of the model. My model has somewhat "thinner" white walls and a Black Rim around the tire instead of Red like yours does.
@jcarnutz, I didn't either until you showed a pic of your model. But mine has the same tires that are in the Brochure I featured. We learned something new today.
