Late mail delivery today.  I like Chargers a lot.  I like this Charger.  BUT...yea, I know, there always has to be a BUT.  Smile

This is NOT your everyday Charger.  It's a Charger yes, however it looks more like a family car than the "road killing Chargers" that we all loved.  This replica shall we say, in its "regular car" form, looks like just that, a "regular car".  All of this said, it is still a Charger and I still like it.  DM did it well!

Danbury Mint presents an exclusive "limited edition" available to only those collectors who own the '69 Charger 500!

now that is a rare one. Perhaps not many of the 5000 original 69 Charger 500 ordered it. Appreciate you "Mail"posts George.

Thank you for the compliment.  It would be interesting to know how many here on the Forum did order the CHARGER SE.

I'd love to have that one! I actually like the "grocery getter" versions of muscle cars. I often built model car kits box stock rather than the fire-breathing hot rod or radical custom options.

Hey, I'm with you.  I often wished that the mints would have produced the "low-end" cars that most of us saw on the roads back in the day.  The two-door sedans with black wall tires and dog-dish hubcaps and the plain Jane station wagons that hauled the family around.  Having many of those cars as models would have been fun!

I ordered this one and love it. It reminds me of the days of the

“White hat specials from the good guys at Dodge!”

I've got one and it's probably my favorite Charger.  I love the color, the vinyl top, the wsw tires, and the fact that it doesn't have a hemi or a 440.

I really like this model-I remember now why I ordered the Charger 500, is was just so I could get this one. My favorite Charger model.
