Loving Camaro's as I do, I was never disappointed when one of the mints offered up another one. This Flyer certainly navigated me to my phone in a hurry. Adorned in beautiful FATHOM GREEN (didn't even know that was a real color, but I checked and according to Crayola Crayons, it is), with a Black Vinyl roof and the hood and trunk adorned with White Stripes, there was no doubt this baby needed a home on my shelf. "Hello Danbury, I'd like to order...".
From Danbury Mint comes a "Limited Edition" Legend...The 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z/28 2-Door Coupe!
I loved it when Danbury Mint would issue a car that they claimed one could only get because we'd purchased a Limited Edition model before it. This Flyer was one of them! An exclusive limited edition replica available ONLY to owners of the "Limited Edition 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 2-Door Coupe! Whether true or an enticing marketing ploy, they had me hooked! Just that quick it was, "Hello Danbury, I'd like to order...".

I opted out of buying these Danbury Mint '69 Camaros. By the time these were released I already had three FM '69 Z28s plus the yellow SS convertible and figured I didn't need any more. However I did eventually get the DM white and orange RS convertible and I'd like to add the DM '69 Blue RS/SS hardtop one day, which I think is the best of the bunch.
@pete-rovero, I understand your reasoning of "not needing another Camaro model", I too, had that mindset with some models that the mints were giving us back in the day. I'd ask myself, "do I really need another Chevy or another Cadillac?", and at the time, I'd answer "no". But as time went on, I also learned to second guess my reasoning and was sorry I hadn't gotten the particular car in question.
I already had NINE '59 Cadillac's when DM came out with a Black Hardtop, and I passed on it. I've regretted it ever since. I had SEVEN '57 Chevy's when DM came out with the Rose Hardtop, and I passed on it. I regretted that decision too! The Chevy, I've since added from the secondary market, and I'm on the look-out for the Cadillac, hoping someday it will be parked on my shelf.
With regard to the Camaro's, I could never get enough of them. I love the '67 through '69 styling.

George, you hit it right on the head. I did the exact same thing, as I also loved the 67-69 Camaro's and had to have them all.
Well, here's another one of those... Like the '69 Dodge 500, I bought it so I could get the turquoise Dodge Charger SE. Same thing here. I bought this one so I could get the red hardtop. At the time I didn't care much for the Charger or the green hardtop. The Charger didn't sell, but this one did. I am glad I kept the Charger, but this one-not so much.
I do still have the red hardtop-I like it a lot.
