This model was a surprise to me, I don't recall exactly what I was looking for when I came across this model. I didn't know it even existed and since the other Hudson models issued by FM were so amazing, I decided to go for this one and see what it was all about. Now while I don't see a lot of 2-door police cars around, I know they exist for certain situations and with this one, it is well done and could certainly serve a purpose for any police department.

Great pics John! Of the FIVE '51 Hudson's that FM gave us, I do not have this police version or the racing version. And the only reason I can offer for not having them is that I felt that because of the "police" and "racing" markings on them, they appeared to be more like "toys" to me. But that's just me.
I will say that both cars would have been fun to have if the above one was just regular models in their respective black and gray colors.

Neat model indeed John. If I remember correctly, I think most police chief cars were 2 door models.😊
@geno Often the various city police departments would use 2dr. cars for traffic enforcement duties back in the '50s.
