The last Duesenberg has a long story associated with it, but let's keep it simple. Commissioned in 1937 and finally completed & titled in 1940. With that it was the last official Duesenberg built. The car was very much different than the previous cars built, but in many ways, it was still a Duesenberg and very obvious when you look at it.
Today the car still exits and is pretty much in its original condition as built. A unique car and an excellent example of one the finest cars to drive the American roadways.
The Franklin Mint did a nice job with this very large model. An excellent representation of the class & distinction a Duesenberg deserves.

Have it, love it. The car will always be an important piece of history being the last Duesenberg built.

Ditto!
It's a car meant for top hat and tails; made for the opera attending Manhattan elites. I always picture dapper Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers on there way to dancing at a luxe night club.
What a beauty. Huge! Thanks for sharing this one John.
