great little kit. Love having pickups/utes in my collection. Couple of bad paint spots, but I really dont mind them on a working car.

It comes as choice to make one of 3 models, including a rod, with a stand to use in case you want to just build the rod engine.

ford10

And with DMs 1931, and 1935 pickups.

Geoff:  Very nicely done.  I am currently working on a 40 Ford Pickup by Monogram.  It is a very old kit I have had for probably 20+ years.  Having a problem with the paint on the cab bubbling.  I have now stripped the body twice and have washed it really good.  Hoping the third time will be the charm.  I am painting it gloss black like the FM version.  Will share when completed.

thanks for sharing this, your latest build....an empty pick-up truck represents such a wide range of possibilities.....it`s as if you`ve built yourself a new friend Geoff 😬

@ed-davis Krylon short cuts spray paint.  Typically I just spray them right out of the box without any primer or cleaning and not have much problem.  This time, I think since this was a very old kit, there must still have been oil residue on it.  I have stripped all the paint and washed the unit and just put a primer coat on that looks like it is smooth.  I will let it dry and then go from there.  Funny part is the pickup bed and fenders all turned out ok without primer and washing.
