Quite pleased with the faux timber effects on the Model T. Original white plastic, painted then stained with real wood stain. I've found a great black mat paint for engines and chassis, comes out as a realistic black metal affect.
The Deutz tractor is a little beauty. I have one more of the older style tractors to go. Hopefully more with turn up. The Plymouth is pretty basic. I'm a big fan of 40s coupes.

They all look great Geoff, but my favorite is the "T". It looks like it just rolled off the Ford assembly line. Impressive!

Geoff. They all look great. But the Plymouth is my favorite. I have this kit as well, just have not gotten around to building it yet.

Wow!!!..........The model T is an absolute delight,the woodworking details really pop,and just the matte black frame can stand on it` own as very satisfying sculpture!!!
That tractor could not have come out any nicer.....Bravo......your best one yet Geoff

Heller of France also has a nice lineup of 1/24 plastic kits that are, of course, mostly European. In the woody department, here's some rather old and poor pics of a ''30s Citroen I did about 30 years ago.

thank you gentlemen so much for your supportive comments. I feel each time I finish one of these I've made one less stuff up on it! Tony here are the 2 remaining readily available 1/24 tractors I'll add. Like with the cars I'm hoping a previously unseen model will pop up from somewhere.
Thanks Rich, I've seen that Citroen on the odd occasion. Will now add it to try the woodstain "treatment" on the woody section.
