Just in this afternoon; SpecCast "Classic Series - Highly Detailed" 1958 Massey Ferguson 65 Gas Wide Front

Made from 1958 through 1964, Massey Ferguson made the Row Crop tractor in gasoline, diesel or Liquified Petroleum models. They used either a 3.3L 4 cylinder Perkins diesel or a 2.9L 4 cylinder Continental gas/LP engine. They were made as a utility tractor, as depicted here, or on a high clearance chassis. The transmission was either a 6 speed,
6 speed gear or a 12 speed 2-range power shift. The 'wide front', depicted here, had an axle that could be adjusted inward or outward to accommodate various crop widths.

The working features and incredible detailing that SpecCast gives you on their "Classic Series - Highly Detailed" versions of these 1:16th scale tractors, are head and shoulders above their standard replica offerings and those of Ertl until you get to their equal, the Ertl "Precision Classics" or "John Deere Collector's Center" issues.
They can even rival Danbury Mint and The Franklin Mint Precision models from back in the day.

Tony,  I agree, one of the nicest tractors you have shown.  I really starting to think about collecting those.

I have this one in 1:43 scale.  I used to operate one of these as a kid working for a neighbor's corn farm and dairy operation.

Tony, I really enjoyed your fine post on your new acquisition-  that's some tractor model!  Then I remembered these and thought it might give you a little smile.  Just little old toys from a few years ago, a friend made these available to me a couple of months ago.  They were both based on the Fordson tractors from the early 20s.  Enjoy!
