Wonderful comparison Tony. The Corvette is, perhaps the best model of a C1 in any scale and it came with both the soft top and the hardtop option. Have both, love both.

I like the T-Bird in black because it looks so much more formal than the Corvette does. The Corvette should be in a more vibrant color to highlight it's sportiness.

Just my 2cents.

I follow your line of thinking perfectly Steve! These FM fiberglass '56 & '57 body-style Vettes were made in other colors that are, as you rightly point out, much more vibrant.

Two different animals behind the wheel. As marketed, the T-Bird was a personal luxury car while the Vette was marketed as a sporty car. Having owned both, I believe both met their goals.

Absolutely on point Bob. Although I have not owned those early years of T-Bird or Corvette, I have driven both in 1956 form. The Baby Bird was a touring cruiser, nice ride and did not wish to be pushed hard. The Vette, as with the black one here, had dual quads and begged to be driven as a sports machine. Ride was much stiffer and corning somewhat better. Ahh, the memories!
