I got to looking through my pics and noticed that I didn't have any pics of this model. An oldie, but I love the 55/56 Pontiacs. I don't understand why FM never capitalized on making a '56.😟

I have this one too and think it and the 2-tone blue convertible are one of FM's better efforts.

Used my dremel with a grinder attachment. After removing the body from the frame.

My original version of this Pontiac, which was the original release from FM, had "thin white walls" on it.  Certainly they were not "period correct", as "thin white walls" did not come in to vogue until 1962.  So yes, this always bothered me!  Then FM did a later release of the car with the "correct wide white walls" and I was able to obtain one on the old Diecast auction site.  I still have the "thin whites" version as well.

@bob-jackman Mine too Bob. I pretty much like all the 50's Pontiac bodystyles. They were handsome cars throughout the 50's. JMHO though. 😁

fantastic setups there Geno, interest everywhere in the pics, yet Pontiac features so prominently.
