Congratulations on the white type 300D. Would love to find one at a reasonable price.
I maybe wrong but I believe there are only 3 CMC 1/24 Horchs? The light green convertible with top down, the maroon top up version, and the ultra rare silver and black version. I have the green and maroon models but not unfortunately the silver and black. I cant recall if its top up or down.
PS just checked Chavs CMC range pic again and the silver and black is a top up. Now I see there is also a maroon top down version which I have never seen. Maybe I've just not been paying attention or is it another ultra rare version?

Yes, there are 4 Horch's, maroon top up and down, green top down and black/silver top up. The rarest is black/silver and all I've seen have diecast rot. So, a black/silver without rot is probably the rarest 1/24 CMC.
According to this list there are 6 Horch's, but I still can't figure out what the differences are between the cream/green and the green one and the red and two tone red....

this is absolutely intriguing. Thanks for posting the chart. Can you click on the hyperlinks item numbers?

I am not sure this list is accurate, this is from JSSS, correct? You can ask Myron there, he created the list.
The official CMC history list (link below) doesn't mention these, and I have never seen more than 4 variations.
Below is the JSSS list, if you follow the links these appear duplicates, perhaps different issues of the same model, two years are listed 1999 and 2002. Considering that many red and green Horch's are affected by diecast rot, won't be surprised if CMC rerun them and made the second batch better. Different releases came in different boxes too, I have to review my boxes.
There are other discrepancies in the JSSS list. I also think CMC messed up their own history, they listed a yellow Special Roadster M002G in the history, but they didn't add that model to the poster. The JSSS list lists it as M002Y. I believe the yellow roadster was made by company called Vanbo with the CMC dies, they also made red open top, and top up white and black MB 500K with cream interior.
CMC site is a great resource which I've bookmarked, thanks Chav. OMG those 1/12 Horchs!
Interesting how the burgundy and black Audi 920 is not listed there.
I think the 1/12 Horch is a bit messed up, the front of the hood is too high, and the door line slops down, the windshield frame is massive. for $3200+? no, thank you, it has to be perfect to consider at that price. The 1/24 Horch has better proportions. Best value in 1/12 is the DM 1930 Cadillac, amazing model that could be found for 500-600.
The burgundy/black Audi is listed, right after the beige/brown version M-032A.

Agreed on the Horch 100% Chav. But that 1/12th DM 1930 Caddy V-16 is an absolute MASTERPIECE!

Here (link below) is the answer for the yellow MB mystery. So, if CMC wrote an article about this one, they would include info regarding any other versions of Horch they made. Again, I think the JSSS list is confusing and there are only 4 versions of the Horch.
