Danbury Mint 1950 Studebaker Convertible
I purchased a Danbury Mint 1950 Yellow Studebaker Convertible 1/24 scale - apparently lost front headlights when taking pictures and have only found one of them. Can anyone tell me how to order a replacement set as Danbury does not carry parts for their models?

Tim....first of all, look very carefully over the area where you took the photos and on any carpets or whatever between where you had the car placed and where you actually took the shots. Just "ordering a part" isn't going to be easy since Danbury doesn't stock parts.
You may be able to hook up with someone here who has a damaged model they will sell very cheaply. Maybe they'd just remove the headlights and mail them to you.
Do you have a scale model shop near you and a person who makes his own models and offers repairs on customer cars ? He/she may have something real close because they usualy have boxes or drawers of "parts" and can be very creative and pretty darn accurate. Just replacing the headlight lens might not be too difficult. Scale model kits can be a source of parts if you can find the right one - at the right price.

Another thing you can try.....
Put a pantyhose or nylon stocking over the end of your vacuum cleaner. The Vacuum cleaner will pick up the headlight but it wont get into the vacuum cleaner......gets caught in the stocking. Hope you find it!

I used Duck Tape pressing down on the area, mostly the floor, when I thought a windowshield wiper had fallen off and eventually I found it sticking to the tape. Good luck.
