DM 1936 Packard is back! DM is expecting delivery Feb 1st!

If the DM factories have been shut down,
and the tooling seized by the Chinese,
where are these new models coming from?
Have new ones been produced, or are these
models that have been held back?

More than one factory.
DM has had more than one factory making product. Recall the discussion here about box codes, anyone? I'm more curious to know why the other factory(ies)they used were off line through all this.

Could be a simple answer .....
Possibly NO WORKERS?? Many of the Chinese walked out and left factory type work in hopes and seeking more rewarding careers! Perhaps this was the case at the other DM facilities, just a thought!

Are we talking about the Packard that was released in September 2010.
Was not aware there was a tire problem with it?

PIC - Richard, the white wall was too thin.
Doug Ford, and some of the other members came up with some solutions to "fix" the white to a more appropriate width.

Yes there was but mine I recently got from DM has...
the correct width for the whitewalls. These models were produced just before the factory closed.
