This is a Crown Premiums model that was given to me by a friend to do something with as it had issues. I just wish I'd gotten more pictures. This is how it originally looked.Â
After. These models are pretty well detailed like the Mints. So I didnt need to detail the interior or engine compartment. I tore it apart, stripped it, repainted it Forest Green Poly, buffed, new stripe kit and photo-etch, cleared it, re-assembled it, boxed it up and sent it back to him. He loved it, so I was happy. 🙂Â

Night & Day difference! Magnificent work Geno. That striping work is awesome!
It looks superb, Geno ! A great re-do job on this Chevelle and it must be a real knockout replica on display.
Again, a big thanks to you all. Blessings, Geno. 😊Â
amazing, as usual! and a wonderful gesture, well done Geno!
Thanks guys. Geoff, to me, it was just the right thing to do. Just like the DM '69 Judge a friend gifted me, it seemed to be a scrap model to him, but I converted it to a non Judge car, made repairs and gave it back to him. It is now a prized model in his collection. That made me happy as well.😊Â

the green looks so much better than the blue.
Fantastic craftsmanship. Wish that I had half your talent (and patience).

Geno, when you repaint your diecast do you strip it down to bare metal? Do you rough up the origenal paint and use it for a primer coat?
