I love the custom Georgia plates on their 1970 GTO Ram Air lVs. I wonder if that was George Bojaciuk's idea. It seems like his sense of humor. Like Hot Wheels. GMP's foray into 1/24 scale failed, not due to quality or content but what I call 'Mint bias'. They only started to be appreciated on the aftermarket. The only 1/24 competition that was immediately embraced was the now defunct West Coast Precision Diecast that was, shall we say, Impala centric.

Both of these models are so perfect.  I wish I had both on my shelves.  Great pics too!

I have the orange convertible, a real favorite. Good point about 'mint bias' at the time Rich. I remember some of the negative commentary. Still, no mints around now, opportune time for ACME/GMP to give 1/24 another go?

Every GMP 1/24 scale model I have is a gem.

Fortunately, I did what Rich said and pick up all the Pontiac's on the 2nd hand market at great prices.  No where near what they sold for new.
