But, I'm sure he echos the sentiments of many, albeit, they remian silent. I will not. I agree with Larry in principal. Realizing the Zone is a dictatorship whos primary purpose is to sell die cast, denotes the recent ruling as totally uncompromising. Moreover, as already stated, the lounge is, as the name says, for drunks and fools. It is time for me to move to the sidelines, if not leave altogether, and I'm sure I will be joined by others.

Larry, I have always appreciated all your postings. Hope you reconsider and continue posting.

Larry, just a note to let you know that I, for one, certainly enjoyed your 1:1 postings. And looked for them in the Lounge. I can see both sides of the question on posting 1:1 on the Bulletin Board. Not a simple black & white decision for anyone. Possibly could have been handled a little better/smoother but still not satisfy everyone IMO. I would hate to see you stop posting due to a few individuals who like to air their differences in public and apparently don't see the complete picture. Just a thought to consider. Looking for more Rods & Customs from you soon!!

Mr Hooper, i do not post much, but i always looked forward to seeing your 1:1 posts. Your posts along with the other posters of 1;1's were most welcome. I for one do not wish to see pictures and read about models that have been about for years. Sir, you are missed.

and the administrators made the right decision. It is a 1/24 diecast site not a 1:1 forum.

Larry, please keep up the great 1:1 posts. The fact that they and others are now in the lounge just leads me to start there. It's not worth the stress to be concerned about something a single mouse click solves.

Larry, as you can see, many people appreciate your postings and I join them in hoping you continue with your excellent 1:1 photos. I do not post frequently, not because I don't appreciate what you post, but rather because I do not visit this forum often, by the time I view a post, it is so far down the screen that I figure no one would read my remarks anyway (my comments usually don't generate responses, either). And by that time, others have already made the same comments I would have made. Also, I agree with Mr. Willard - the 1:1 pics are only a mouse click away.

This was quite rude, Richard. If the the issue bothers Larry, then it isn't "Nothing". It was rude of you to dismiss his concerns in such a cavalier way. The responses in this thread should show you that there are many who agree with him. For the record, I am one of them.

I agree Larry. I'm a 1/18 guy, but I still came to the BB at least once a day, and often more frequently, to see what was going on in 1/24, and to see the 1:1 pics which represent our mutual interest. I enjoyed getting to know everyone here, and interacting with them. Since the 1:1 pics are banned on the BB, I feel as if I've been politely asked to leave. I know I can visit the 1/18 Board, and the Lounge (which I do every day), but that doesn't change the fact that the BB feels off limits to me now.

I know it's a frustrating situation for everyone. Most people want the 1:1 pictures, but everyone is fighting over where to put them. There is a major split on whether they belong in any of the scale forums. The charter members of the Lounge feel trampled by all the 1:1 pic guys showing up. The prolific 1:1 pic posters (Steve Kiraly, Dick Johnson, Doug Ford etc) feel put out. I just know that two things are true, and we are all feeling both of them.

1) This issue is one big mess.
2) This site just isn't fun the way it used to be.
