The Board is for 1/24 diecast models........
is it so hard to understand?
Just couldn't leave well enough alone could you Tom.
BTW...Your last sentence in your post was uncalled for and I found it personally offensive.
Larry, I am also not a frequent poster, but I visit this fine website several times during the day. I do hope you reconsider your thoughts of discontinuing your posts, as I always enjoyed them. My interest in the 1:24 diecast hobby certainly stems from my interest in 1:1 cars (and pictures of them). They help me to keep my appetite whetted. I did not agree with the idea of moving car pics to the lounge in the first place. However I now check the lounge postings every day, hoping to continue finding 1:1 postings. Again, Larry, I say please reconsider.
FINALLY.................
nice to see somebody else saying something about what he thinks not being afraid to be insulted by the minority who controlled the posting on this Board for too many years.
+1
Again, you are upset for nothing..........
go over it..... we all know your pictures are very nice and appreciated for those who want to go through.
The administrators have a lot of respect for all of you guys who want to post 1:1 pictures.
They just have to be posted on the Lounge.
What's your problem if it is not ego?
I don't think I have to ask your permission to have a say on this subject Dube.

Hey Hooper....
The Administrators are behind this website and deserve respect. They made decisions and everybody has to abide by the rules.
If you don't want to go by the rules, you have just to quit and post your pictures somewhere else if the Lounge doesn't meet your standards.
It's pretty simple.
All I can do is laugh at the kettle calling the pot black. Go up 18 lines and reread your post to Dube. The last statement in my post was a polite way of telling you to grow up and get a life.
Proof that you didn't understand my point. My comment was not directed at the point you were making. It was directed at the rude insulting way that you made your point. Your responses here merely confirm my previous opinion.
I wish you the best Steve. I feel as if I'm losing a good friend.
Ryan, you're right on the mark.
I'm basically new to diecast.org. I've only been on the site for a couple of years now. I come here for 'diecast' discussions. I don't mind the 1:1 pics; but, that's why I subscribe to Hemmings Classic Car magazine. I'll go to HCC for 'those'.
And in case the rest of you haven't been paying attention, Ryan has been hinting at where the diecast market may be headed if DM take the same dive that FM has....'custom'-made diecasts. Ryan has been posting pics of some pretty sweet looking customs lately.
How long will it be before we start seeing customs posted 'for sale' on the site?
I know I'll be watching for them.
I'm still a little vague on what the issue is here...
If you enjoy 1:1's, there's a great place to post them just one click away. Some say they're not wanted in the Lounge. Not true! The Lounge is run by the Zone who invited the 1:1 pic posters in. Before that, posts were few and far between over there. Nobody's been exiled nor has anyone been curtailed. It would seem to me that those folks who are so fond of 1:1's would appreciate having the place all to themselves. The Zone has actually opened up more opportunities to post the things that matter most to you...in a proper, dedicated place. As it is, as of today, the BB has come alive with folks talking about 1:24 models AND the Lounge has come alive with news posts every day. It sounds like a win-win to me. Postings are way up on both boards. This is not rocket science, folks. Just click on "The Lounge" if you want to see the same posts that were on the BB a week ago. That's what I do.

Hey Richard - despite what you think, Larry deserves respect also!
